Here the existing kitchen was partly removed and a temporary wall built to partition the build from the remaining kitchen.
Steel beams were installed under the original external wall and the new extension added a dining area 2.5m x 6.5m to the existing kitchen, featuring full width uPVC doors and three Velux rooflights to maximise natural light on the south facing rear of the building.
The room was weathered and secured, the temporary partition was removed and the remaining kitchen stripped out and new units were installed by our fitters.
Exisiting electrics were brought up to current regs with a new consumer unit and three way LED downlighting was installed to conserve energy. Old appliances were replaced with modern, energy efficient ones including instant hot water from the kitchen tap.
New paving was built around the new extension and wide steps were created up to the existing patio and pool area.
This high spec job has given our client a large, modern kitchen space perfect for entertaining and family life.
